Bimbo Dolls
Bimbo Dolls like to stir up controversy. Ok, we are talking about toys here and the amount of perverse, mutilated, s#%t-shaped figures we’ve seen in our lifetime should have prepared us for the worst. True, in Germany the word “bimbo” has a fairly strong racist undertone, but thankfully it is hardly ever used in this context. True, in the U.S. its slang for dumb, female blonds in miniskirts and high heels, and true in Italy it means “little doll”. But come on, this doll doesn’t bite or swear or cause wars… does it?!
Bimbo dolls are made by hand from a range of materials; cloth, corduroy, rubber, fake leather, and they represent the social issues of our time; violence, fascism, misogyny, etc. Some have male and some have female genitalia.
Some are more controversial, like the “mega Bimbo” who epitomizes a certain cliché referring to black males and then there’s “Happy Bimbo” who is basically a naked Adolf Hitler with a finger up his bottom.
