Bubi Au Yeung has a large following. The brains behind milkjar.com was born and raised in Hong Kong. She loves doodling. In fact, she loves doodling, sketching, illustration, comics, toys (also a keen collector) and anything else that inspires her, even telephone directories! Bubi began writing short, illustrated, character-based stories in 2005 in which she introduces the duo, Treeson and Ren. The pair’s attempts at combating deforestation left a branch sticking out of Treeson’s heart. Maybe it was this inner pain that led to Treeson being chosen as the first of Bubi’s vinyl toys.
Who knows? But we’re still waiting for Ren to come and look after his spiky friend.
