Nanospore
Paul Hwang and Ben Lee are the brains behind Nanospore.
Nanospores are a spore-based species from outer space about the size of a softball and also the name of Paul and Ben’s design offices in Los Angeles.
The two friends met during their studies at the Art Centre in Pasadena’s College of Design. They graduated and worked separately on different projects, before deciding that collaboration was in both their best interests.
Hwang developed the original Nanospore idea whilst doodling with spore shapes during a class assignment. Today Hwang and Lee’s Nanospore revolution has spread to an international audience and infiltrated everyday life as we know it. Watch out for the duo’s new utilitarian toys which include a rice-cooker with a spore-shaped outer shell… sporetastic!!
