Jamungo are Clay "Ferg" Ferguson and Trevor "VanBeater" Van Meter.
Since the release of their Blow Up Dolls (BUDS), these two design talents’ reputations for creating uncannily cool canvases has grown. So much so in fact, that graphic artists from across the designer toy spectrum are scrambling to get their designs immortalised in the form of BUD and NADE special editions.
Ferg has lived in Austin, Texas all his life. Growing up under the influence of skateboarding, speed metal and games consoles, he met the Greenville NC, web game, animation, design freak, VanBeater while collaborating on several design projects together before their relationship was cemented with the foundation of Jamungo. Why Jamungo? “We wanted to come up with something that sounded BIG and at the same time fun. It's pretty much just an empty vessel. Hopefully it will take on more meaning as we grow.” It has.
The latest release of Jamungo’s Squbes and Sqwerts should ensure that this design duo will not be exploding prematurely!
